International Meeting of Contemporary Architecture on Historic Settings
Seville, 17 to 19 September 2013
An international meeting, organized by the Municipality of Seville together with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, World Heritage Center of UNESCO, ICOMOS and the Organization of World Heritage Cities, will bring in Seville a number of international experts from different fields to analyze and debate the integration of contemporary architecture in historical contexts.
The meeting addresses a key issues currently debated concerning the harmonization of contemporary architecture within protected core historic sites being promoted by the concerned authorities as motors for local economic and social development.
