Teimuraz ABASHIDZE, Georgian, graduated from the Institute of Business and Technology in Tbilisi.
From the beginning of his career he has been involved in the administration of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region. From 1999 to 2002 he worked as a chief adviser to the head of the Board of Mtskheta District. In 2002-2004 he worked as a specialist in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Certifying Agency ”Autotransregulireba” Ltd. In 2004-2005 he occupied position of a consultant at Transport Administration of Georgia in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region. In 2005-2007 he was the deputy head of the Board of Mtskheta District. In 2007- 2008 he worked as first deputy to the Head of Mtskheta Municipality.
Since May 2009 Teimuz Abashidze has been head of the Municipality of Mstkheta.
