Articles on the theme of the port-city relationship and regeneration of the urban waterfront have been published by RETE—Association for the Collaboration between Ports and Cities— with the aim to build an international network of port cities and ports, with an emphasis, though not exclusive to, Southern European, the Mediterranean and Latin American cities, developing and improving reciprocal relationships and mutual collaboration in order to achieve a balanced and qualified development of urban and port areas.
Articles are published in Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and French – depending on the writer’s language – with an English translation. You can find all the information in Portus the six-monthly review of RETE. N.22 of Portus Magazine is out now with discussion on recent actions along the seafront of Santander and Manhattan, sustainable interventions in HafenCity in Hamburg, the projects in the urban port of Helsinki and other concerned projects.
