Within the framework of an EU grant project World Association for the protection of Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage in times of armed conflicts is looking for an Assistant Information and Communication manager
Position: Assistant Information and Communication Manager
Duration: six months starting October 15 at the latest
Type of position: part time 50%
Location: WATCH office in Rome (Italy). Candidates should be already resident in Rome as the work will be at WATCH headquarters.
Background: Studies and advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in communication, journalism, public relations or a related field, fluency in spoken/written English (English mother tongue preferred).
Profile : We are looking for a young, dynamic and proactive colleague able to share workload; Very good at writing and editing in English; Creative and concise. Dedicated and used to work under pressure when necessary.
Experience: journalistic background and a sound experience in digital communication (website, social media). Previous experience in with European Projects is an asset.

Job description: The Assistant Info&Com Manager is responsible to assist the Project Coordinator in the production, promotion and dissemination of the communication products of the project. The Assistant ICM will be engaged within the framework of an EU grant project to:
- Produce informative packages presenting the project to different target groups;
- Produce Information kits for distribution online and/or in print;
- Interact with the web developer in charge of the project website;
- Design and produce the project newsletter (collecting , editing, writing articles and interviewing stakeholders);
The Assistant ICM reports to WATCH Director Head Office
